Caroline Lachance joined LJT Avocats in 2026. Her practice focuses on copyright and entertainment law, trademarks, intellectual property litigation, and advertising and marketing law. As a trademark agent, she develops protection strategies tailored to each client’s reality, both in Canada and abroad. She supports clients at every stage of a trademark’s life cycle, from adoption through registration and licensing to enforcement, and regularly acts in opposition and litigation matters.

In copyright matters, she advises creators and rights holders on the protection, management and commercialization of their works. She drafts and negotiates a variety of intellectual property agreements, including assignments and licences, and conducts legal reviews to identify risks related to third-party rights.

A member of the Barreau du Québec since 2022, she holds a law degree (LL.B.) from the Université de Montréal and a bachelor’s degree in international relations and international law from UQAM. Before joining LJT, she practised for five years at a boutique firm recognized for its intellectual property expertise. She is also a member of several professional associations, including ALAI Canada and AJAVA.
