Catherine Santerre

Catherine Santerre joined the litigation team at LJT Avocats in 2026. Her practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, particularly condominium law, real estate law and construction law. She regularly represents and advises syndicates of co-owners on matters involving insurance, construction and latent defects, among others. Pragmatic and strategic, she handles her clients' files with rigour, always with their objectives in mind.

A member of the Quebec Bar since 2019, she holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Université du Québec à Montréal. Before joining LJT, she practised at a regional firm and at an international firm focused mainly on insurance law. This experience allowed her to develop expertise in real estate, product liability, insurance and transportation, as well as personal injury. Committed to her legal community, she served on the board of directors of the Young Bar of Montreal. Outside the office, she chairs a competitive road cycling team in Quebec, true to her belief that a healthy mind rests in a healthy body.
