Guillaume Vallières joined the condominium law litigation team at LJT Avocats in 2026. He brings to clients extensive legal research and drafting experience gained through his work in appellate proceedings. Rigorous and methodical, he approaches each file with a thorough analysis of the applicable law in order to identify clear, practical, and well-supported solutions.

Prior to joining LJT, he worked as a research lawyer for a judge of the Court of Appeal of Quebec, where he had also completed his articling term. In that role, he handled a wide range of complex matters involving civil, criminal, administrative, and constitutional law.

He is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Université du Québec à Montréal, where his research focuses on the judicial treatment of certain aspects of the Canadian employment insurance system. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the Université de Montréal and worked as a research assistant in both cultural and academic settings before beginning his law studies. He also spent several years working as a captioner for people with hearing impairments.

In 2023, his team placed third in the "Factum" category of the Laskin Moot Court Competition, a Canada-wide competition featuring nearly twenty teams.
